  • again, I repeat, The Legislature passed a balanced budget that includes increases in core programs (as usual). Dayton wants to increase revenue to spend 4-5 BILLION with a B more than projected revenues.

  • jackstraw you must be talking about our Govenor because he is a douchebag who has millions that he shelters out of state and only claims around $187,000 per year. I know it was a holiday Friday, but there sure wasn't much traffic with so many government workers laid off.

  • Maybe Dayton should increase taxes on "trust fund babies". He is the ultimate TFB. He has wanted this shutdown since the beginnng. The legislature PASSED a BALANCED budget that matched expected Revenues for the next 2 yrs.

  • Some people are just plain messed up. I used to work with a guy who was at a party, and somebody put some type of drain cleaner in his cocktail. He had permanent damage to his esopagus, and larynx, and had a feeding tube in his stomach for the rest of his life. No reason, no provacation.
